Welcome to Teddy Belly Bakery. By accessing our website, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

These Terms of Service apply to all sales of products and services by Teddy Belly Bakery. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. All amendments will be posted on this page.

2. Product Information & Availability

All our products are handcrafted, and as such, there may be slight variations in appearance from the images displayed on our website. All products are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to impose quantity limits on any order, to reject all or part of an order, and to discontinue products without notice.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless otherwise specified and are subject to change without notice. Full payment is required for all standard online orders at the time of checkout. We accept payments via Paystack. Your order will not be processed until payment is confirmed.

4. Custom Cake Bookings

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of ₦5,000 is required to secure a custom cake booking. This deposit confirms your order and is deducted from the final total.
• Final Payment: An invoice for the remaining balance will be sent to you. Full payment must be received at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery or pickup time.
• Design Changes: Minor changes to your design may be possible up to 72 hours before your event date, at our discretion. Significant changes may incur additional charges.

5. Order Processing

For standard items, please allow at least 24-48 hours for order processing. For custom bookings, lead times will be discussed and agreed upon during the consultation process. You will receive an email confirmation once your order is placed and another notification when it is out for delivery.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We use third-party delivery services to deliver your orders. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location. While we strive to ensure timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by the delivery service, traffic, or incorrect address information provided by the customer. Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

7. Cancellations, Refunds & Returns

• Standard Orders: Cancellations for a full refund are accepted within 2 hours of placing the order. After this period, we cannot offer a refund as the order will be in production.
• Custom Bookings: The initial ₦5,000 deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel your custom order at least 7 days before the event, any payment made beyond the deposit may be refunded at our discretion. No refunds will be issued for custom orders cancelled within 7 days of the event.
• Returns: Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns. If you are unsatisfied with the quality of your product, please contact us within 4 hours of receipt with photographic evidence. We will assess the situation and may offer a partial refund, full refund, or store credit at our sole discretion.

8. Quality & Allergen Information

We pride ourselves on the quality of our products. All items are best consumed on the day of delivery. We are not responsible for product quality if it is not stored as recommended.

Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to wheat, nuts, eggs, and dairy. It is the customer's responsibility to inform us of any potential allergies. While we take steps to minimize risk, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are safe to consume for people with severe allergies.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and cake designs, is the property of Teddy Belly Bakery and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, duplicate, or copy any part of our service or products without express written permission from us.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you is limited to the price of the product or service you have purchased. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or services.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
